For Beginners Step by step Formatting PC from LostBoy:

Step by Step guide on how to install fresh winXP..

enter cmos setup
1. After you put your OS CD in CD/DVD Rom.. Press Delete button on your keyboard until you entered CMOS Set-up.. Go to Advanced Set-up, Then move your arrow keys down,.

2. After you place your arrow in The first boot press Enter Choose the CD/DVD etc.. press arrow down again then press Enter then Choose now the HDD etc.. and press F10 and then press Enter after you finish.

3. Restart your PC now..

4. After you restart your PC, you can see in your Monitor "Press any key etc.." then press Enter.. Wait until you enter the Windows Set-up

5. Then there are 3 options

1. setup windows
2. repair windows
3. quit

6. Agreement prompt press F8

7. If there is a previous OS in your Hard Disk there are options that will prompt then press Enter

8. partition Hard Disk it depends on how you divide your hard disk size...

* to create partition press C then type the desire number of Gigabytes to use..

* if you want to change your partition just press D to delete the partition then optional press Enter and press L.

9. If the desire partition is ok..

select the target drive better select the default drive which is drive C..

10. you can choose if Fat 32 or NTFS it depends upon you..

note : In my experience if you have a small capacity set it to Fat 32 but if you have a big of hard drive capacity select NTFS....

11. Two option will Pop-out
*Format (quickly)etc.
*Format NTFS etc.

12. wait and it will automatically format and install windows.. after that it will automatically restart in 15 secs.or you can manual restart it by press Enter.. then it will now go to windows setup.. just follow the instructions in setting up your windows..

13. you can use this serial C6R9F-8R8RR-B7GRJ-TTKWX-GDQYT wait until it finish the setup..

14. Last steps install your motherboard drivers...

My most Unforgetable Experience in my PC

I post this because you will experience this someday....

Here's the Situation
I experience this at the same time i mean all in one.....

1. In my computer there is always a dialog box it says: c: Global.exe please insert disk in E:,, i restarted my computer but the same problem happens then i press ctrl+alt+del, then there is something prompt Task manager has been disable by administrator i've use all the tweaks i know but it did'nt work,, Task manager fixer,but its not working.. again!!

2. Then i look also if there is a problem in my registry start> run> regedit then a dialog box appears Regedit editing has been disable by administrator

3. Everytime i clicked any of my disk drive the Local Disk C and D,, it says choose a program to open...and then i figured out it was infected with this following viruses..

Note: if ever your pc infected with those viruses,, after formatting your pc,, better to use CD installers dont open any of your drives... Local Drives

Solution: Install any of your anti-virus,, I advice Norton Symantec 2010 then update it before running a full scan..

Norton Symantec 2010 can detect and fix all viruses in Problem no. 3

How to fix Code 39 error of dvd/cd-rom drives in windows xp/vista/windows 7


Error: Missing Dvd/Cd-Rom Icon in My computer

Generated Error:

"Windows cannot load the device for this hardware.The driver may be corrupted or missing.(Code 39)"

1. Close all open programs

2. Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press enter

3. Click on the plus sign (+) next to the following folders

* HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
* SYSTEM
* CurrentControlSet
* Control
* Class
* {4D36E965-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}


4. This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry.
Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

* UpperFilters
* LowerFilters
* UpperFilters.bak
* LowerFilters.bak


5. If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed. right click on them
and choose delete.

6. After deleting the keys, close the Registry Editor

7. Reboot your pc.

Note: it will boot-up a bit slower because it will automatically replace
the deleted keys, so thers no need to worry.

8. Check your DVD/CD-Rom icon in My Computer. IT SHOULD BE THERE.
